Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Stitch Craft is made by Parivee Apps in the Netherlands. Parivee Apps is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. Photos and patterns

When you pick a photo, Stitch Craft turns it into a pattern on your device. Your photos, patterns, palettes and progress are stored on your device and are never sent to us. We do not use face recognition.

Stitch Craft asks for access to your camera or photo library only when you choose to add a photo.

3. Purchases

Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your card details.

We use RevenueCat to check which purchases you own and to restore them. RevenueCat receives a random app user ID, your purchase history, your device model, iOS and app version, country, IP address and the identifier for vendor (IDFV).

4. Measuring our ads

We use the Meta (Facebook) SDK to log a few basic events: app installs, app opens and purchases, including the amount and currency. This tells us whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram work. An anonymous Meta ID is shared with RevenueCat to link purchases to ads.

We do not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA) and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. Apple's SKAdNetwork reports installs to us without identifying you.

5. iCloud sync and backups

iCloud Sync is part of Premium. When you turn it on, your patterns are stored in your private iCloud database by Apple. We cannot see them.

Stitch Craft also keeps a daily backup on your device. Backup files you export stay wherever you save them. Shared pattern files contain only the pattern, never your photo or progress.

6. The website

trystitchcraft.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Our hosting provider may keep short-lived server logs, such as your IP address and the time of your visit, to keep the site safe. Google Search Console shows us search data in aggregated form only.

The free tools on this site run in your browser. Photos you open in the DMC color matcher are never uploaded.

7. Email

When you email us, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

8. Sharing and transfers

We share data only with the services named above: Apple, RevenueCat and Meta Platforms, and our hosting provider. Some of them process data in the United States, under safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell personal data.

9. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

10. Children

Stitch Craft is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows the latest version. For big changes we will let you know in the app or on this site.
